Dr. Isaac Tam

Dr. Isaac Tam, a board-certified pediatric dentist and orthodontist, has been creating healthy smiles for more than a dozen years. He earned his Bachelor of Science with honors in biology from Hope College, his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, his Pediatric Dentistry Degree and training from New York University Langone Hospital, and his Orthodontics Masters Degree and training from the University of British Columbia. He lectures to dental professionals worldwide and has had his research published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Dr. Isaac is a faculty and lecturer of graduate orthodontics at the University of British Columbia where he mentors dental students and residents.
In his spare time, Dr. Isaac enjoys time with family, fishing, playing hockey, tennis and golf, and developing community projects through the Tam Foundation.
Dr. Pauline Lee
Dr. Lee is a certified specialist in pediatric dentistry. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the National University of Singapore and practiced as a general dentist before pursuing specialty training at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Lee is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Lee prides herself in being open, nonjudgemental, and empathetic. She finds it extremely rewarding working with anxious patients and nervous parents - she has various strategies up her sleeve to minimize your stress! From her residency working at BC Children's hospital, she also has well-rounded experience working with children with complex medical histories or special needs. Dr. Lee speaks Mandarin and Cantonese.
In her free time, Dr. Lee loves going on hikes and spending time with her beloved dog. Born and bred in Singapore, she is also a foodie - ask her about the most adventurous food she's tried!
Maryann
Certified Dental Assistant
Maryann was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She later moved to Canada in 2001 with her husband and 3 kids. She graduated from the university of East Philippines, and with her passion for health care, Maryann decided to pursue dental assisting and has since been practicing along side Dr. Isaac Tam. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, camping with her family and friends and watching television dramas. She speaks fluent English and Tagalog.
Diane
Receptionist
Diane was born and raised in the Philippines where she got her degree in the field of Hospitality. Her innate warmth and empathetic traits compliments her overall . Diane has been exposed to different industries where she honed her customer-service, sales and marketing skills. As a front-liner, she believes every customer deserves top-notch service. Diane loves to paint murals, landscapes, portraits and many more.
Diana
Office Manager
Having grown up on the North Shore, Diana is excited to be part of Dr. Isaac’s new practice in North Vancouver. She earned an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics (Kinesiology) from the University of British Columbia, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University. In her spare time, she loves to play tennis, volleyball, basketball and the occasional golf!
